Videos
These are some random videos that I have shot while fishing. I am not a video editor or any good with them, they are simply fun ways to help me remember my adventures. Enjoy!
The most recent are listed first:
Burnham Harbor -- 8/7/10 -- With west winds blowing and water temperatures dropping, Todd and I decided to give late summer salmon a chance. While odds seemed poor, I was able to get a very silver King salmon within the 1st half hour of the trip.
Des Plaines River -- 4/6/10: Early season fishing for Northern Pike on the DPR. A very common set-up of a golden roach, a slip bobber, and a split-shot yields a small but fun early season catch.
Kenosha Harbor -- 12/29/09: While no fishing highlights, I just wanted to try out my new MinoHD digital recorder. So far I am pleased with the picture. This also shows the ice conditions of Kenosha Harbor that day.
This is a highlight of the 2 40inch + pike we caught this summer, at Lake Kapukasing, Ontario. We were outfitted by Air Ivanhoe, and had the time of our lives.
This is a highlight video from the 2008 Fishing Season.
This video is of my fishing bud Todd battling some salmon in late November. In baseball, you hear of “walk-off homeruns”. To us, this was the last day of salmon season, and it had been a slow one. Therefore, we calledthese salmon “walk-off fish”.
Paul and I decided to go fishing for some of Wisconsin’s prized carp. This dumb fish got hooked in the tail.
