Midwest Multispecies Angling
Early December Perch Report
From the data that my blog provides me, it turns out that Navy Pier Perch Reports are one of the top inquiries, into search engines, that reach my blog. I wish I could get out enough to provide accurate day to day reports of perch activity. The pictures below were taken by me after my best fishing bud, Todd, returned from Navy Pier earlier this week. While the perch are not the jumbos everyone is after, they are a fine specimen of winter perch in Chicago. He had his limit in less than two hours from start. Fathead minnows, on crappie rigs, were the quick ticket to his success. He stated that the perch were hitting with solid thumps. He also did well, recently, getting a limit of perch at night. Go get them fellas. Way to go Todd!!!

Hi Matt – Tell your buddy there that this is an impressive bunch of Perch. I enjoy fishing for Perch when I can find some decent size ones out my way. Thanks for the pictures. Now I can’t wait to catch a mess of Perch.
