A quick summary from recent Dupage Adventures
I have not posted in some time, due to the fact that I am moving shortly and do not have internet. It is also the end of the year, which meant finals and massive amounts of grading. I don’t want my few followers to think I am a dead beat blogger, who has just stopped for no apparent reason. The pictures below cover a wide variety of days on a wide variety of ponds. The only consistency among them is the little gold and black Rapala used to catch all of the fish. I am trying to avoid using live bait at all this year, outside of spawn for salmon. I was especially impressed by the aggressive bluegills that hit the tiny crank bait. The pictures cover a few of my short adventures between May 10th and June 7th. Hopefully, now that summer vacation is upon me, I will be able to get up to Northern Wisconsin and soon post my first musky post.

Hey Matt, I like this new look to your blog. Looks snazzy! The last time I visited was probably 3 weeks ago before I began heading up north every-other week for fishing.
Just got back with Kenny. Had a hell of a trip. Muskies too.
Let me know when you plan on heading up. I’ll be in the area again this weekend from Fri thru Sun. and then again June 25th til July 1st with the fireman, Jake.
If you go up anytime soon, don’t even bother working Madeline or Carroll. Weeds are extremely way behind schedule for this time of year – Carroll should be hoppin’ towards end of July.
I almost fished Plum a few week ago. That place looks like an eye-catcher.
Hope to run into you soon.
